Today the Court of Aldred No. 15 celebrates its 15th Anniversary.
Consecrated on Saturday 27th January 2007 at Chester-le-Street, County Durham. A little under 300 yards from the spot where King Athelstan prostrated himself before the coffin of St Cuthbert in 934AD. He bestowed several gifts to the shrine which can still be seen at Durham Cathedral.
The late RW Bro. Bryan Wills undertook most of the ceremonials after which the then Grand Master also Constituted the Province of Lindsey.
The Primus Master of the Court was a certain W. Bro. Paul W. Johnston, the Primus Senior Warden being Bro. Bill Carlyon and the Primus Secretary, W Bro. Ray Dinning.
The Court now sits within the Province of Northumbria.
